According to Sunir Public Relations and International Affairs, the project of supplying trays for the distillation towers of Baniyas refinery in Syria, which includes 208 trays with different alloys, for 13 distillation towers of this refinery in 3 phases had finally concluded in September of this year.

At present, the managers and representatives of the company are consulting with the representatives of the employer in order to release of 20% of the delivery amounts of equipment shipment to the site.

Baniyas is a city located 35 km north of the city of Tartus and 55 km south of Latakia on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in the Syrian Arab Republic. This strategic location for this port city, on the one hand, and Syria’s need to produce petroleum products, on the other, led to the construction of the Baniyas Refinery, one of the largest companies under the Syrian Ministry of Petroleum and natural Resources. It was built by Romanian company “Export Import” with the aim of refining crude oil and producing petroleum products with an annual capacity of 6 million metric tons.

Sunir Company has long been active in various fields of work, including the design, supply and implementation of water, electricity and agriculture projects in Syria, and in addition to the development of the target market and the existence of economic capacities and advantages based on previous experience, exploring opportunities for entering country’s oil and gas sector.

It is hoped that with the successful completion of this project and the upstream planning planned for the Syrian market, Iranian technical and engineering companies, including Sunir Company, which is a leader in the export of services in this field, will have a stronger presence in the reconstruction of Syria.
